Do I have to commit to a certain number of months when I become a member?

Nope! Thanks to our one-month notice, you can cancel or downgrade your monthly membership anytime. This means you can join us for as long or as short a time as you prefer. But be aware; once you step into our community, fitness may become one of your favourite things to do.

Do you have a punch card?

Currently, we do not offer a punch card system. We focus on providing continuous, consistent training experiences for our members and fostering a community spirit. 

Can I start my membership any day of the month?

Yes, you can start your membership on any day of the month. This flexibility allows you to begin your fitness journey with us whenever you're ready, without waiting for a specific enrollment period.

Can I train at both locations with my membership?

Yes, you have the flexibility to train at both of our locations. This allows you to choose the location that best suits your schedule and preferences.

Do you have showers?

Yes, we provide hot showers at both facilities, ensuring you can freshen up comfortably after your workout.

Training & Competitions

Can I follow my own programming/training schedule?

No. Training at UnScared is structured to provide the most effective and cohesive fitness experience for all our members. Therefore, we do not accommodate individual programming or personal training schedules. Our focus is on delivering high-quality, structured classes that meet a wide range of fitness goals and needs.

Do you host competitions?

We are thrilled to host a variety of exciting events. These include:

  1. The CrossFit Open: A staple in the CrossFit community, offering a challenging and exhilarating experience for participants of all levels.
  2. Push-Pull Competition: Focused on strength and power, this event is a fantastic opportunity to test and showcase your power-lifting skills.
  3. Strength Fest: A celebration of strength, endurance, and personal achievement, catering to a wide range of strengths and abilities.

The Affiliate Cup: An event fostering community spirit, camaraderie, and friendly competition among our members.

Are the classes in English?

At UnScared, we ensure inclusivity and accessibility for our diverse community. Our classes can be conducted in Dutch or in English, catering to local and international members.

Are all classes coached?

Each class is coached, guaranteeing guidance and supervision. Our coaches are dedicated to providing a safe, effective, and enjoyable training experience for everyone, regardless of skill level.

Is there a fixed schedule?

We operate on a fixed classschedule designed to offer consistency and structure for your training routine. This allows you to plan your workouts conveniently and ensures you can consistently attend the classes that best fit your schedule and fitness goals. Do you offer an open gym or open platform?

Training at UnScared is structured to provide the most effective and cohesive fitness experience for all our members. Our focus is on delivering high-quality, structured classes that meet a wide range of fitness goals and needs. However, we offer a small amount of Open Gym hours at our Vrila location during Strength and Oly classes.

I can't make it for a drop-in, can I get a refund?

If you're unable to attend a drop-in class you've scheduled, we've got you covered with a flexible rescheduling option. Simply click the "reschedule" link in your confirmation e-mail or contact us directly at info@unscared.fitness. While we do not offer refunds, this rescheduling flexibility ensures that you won't miss out on your opportunity to train at UnScared due to unforeseen circumstances. 

Can I pay on-site?

No, we operate on a cash-free basis at both locations. All payments should be made electronically, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience for our members and staff.

Can I pay cash for a drop-in/membership?

Can I pause my membership?

Yes, you can request a pause; here are the conditions you need to meet:

  1. Advance notice: Your request must be sent to us at info@unscared.fitness at least one calendar month before the desired start date of the pause. This allows us to process your request in a timely manner.
  2. Pause start date: The pause should start on the first day of a calendar month. This helps in keeping your membership records clear and consistent.
  3. Pause end date: Similarly, the pause should end on the last day of a calendar month. This ensures a smooth transition when you resume your services.
  4. Duration of the pause: The minimum duration for a pause is one calendar month, and it can last up to a maximum of six calendar months. 

If your request meets these conditions, it will be approved by UnScared. UnScared may approve a pause under different conditions in certain situations, but this is at our discretion. If you have any specific concerns or unique situations, feel free to discuss them in your e-mail, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

How do I upgrade or downgrade my membership?

You can upgrade or downgrade your membership in the UnScared app.

I’m out of credits, but I want to train more this month: what are my options?

If you've used up your credits for the month but wish to train more, here's what you can do:

  1. Access the UnScared App: Open the UnScared app on your mobile device.
  2. Navigate to the Shop: Go to the 'Shop' section within the app.
  3. Buy New Credits: In the Shop, you'll find the option 'Buy New Credits'. You can purchase single extra credit(s) from here as needed.

If you're consistently running out of credits, consider upgrading your membership. Upgrading will provide you with more credits each month, ensuring you have ample opportunity to train as frequently as you desire without purchasing extra credits.

Can I carry over my credits to next month?

We encourage you to use all of your credits each and every month. Remaining credits are not transferred over to the next month. If you consistently have credits left at the end of a month you can always downgrade your membership.

How do I cancel my membership?

Send an e-mail to info@unscared.fitness to cancel your membership.  

A notice period of one full calendar month is required.

Can you send me an invoice for my membership (with my business name on it)?

Yes, you can download invoices yourself from the UnScared app. Additionally, you can add your business info there to have your business listed on future invoices too. Watch this quick tutorial to be on your way!

You can easily access this information through the UnScared app. Here's how:

  1. Open the app
  2. Navigate to the 'Rooster & Events' section. Tap on a class in the schedule. Tap 'workouts'. This section provides a detailed overview of the workout of the day. When available, click 'ledennotities' for more information on a specific movement.
  3. Within the app, you'll find the programming for the upcoming month. This allows you to see what's in store for the next few weeks and plan your training schedule accordingly.

Training & Competitions

I have an injury, now what?

Please notify one of our coaches or update your profile in the UnScared app. Our collaboration with Fysiofabriek enables us to customize workouts to accommodate various injuries and limitations. An injury should never be a barrier to your fitness goals. Our coaches are there to ensure that it isn't.

How do I acquire all the skills offered in the different programs?

To acquire the diverse range of skills offered in our different programs, we provide a supportive and structured approach:

  1. Workshops: We host specialized workshops focusing on specific skills. These workshops are designed to provide in-depth training and personalized attention, helping you develop proficiency in targeted areas.
  2. Practice Time: You are encouraged to practice skills 15 minutes before or after class. This extra time allows you to work on specific movements or techniques you've learned in class. To ensure safety, this practice should be done with a coach's permission.

Remember, skill acquisition is a gradual process that requires patience, practice, and perseverance. Our coaches are here to support you every step of the way, ensuring you safely and effectively develop the skills offered in our programs.
