Struggling to get up the rope, or just burning out halfway? In this workshop, you’ll learn how to climb efficiently and confidently using technique, not just brute strength.
Coach Rick will take you through key rope climb progressions. We’ll break down foot locks (yes, there’s more than one), body positioning, and pulling mechanics to help you move smoother, save energy and reduce the risk of slipping or stalling halfway.
What you’ll work on:
- Building pulling strength specific to the rope
- Learning and refining foot lock techniques
- Practicing efficient climbing drills
- Understanding how to pace and control each rep
- Spotting and fixing common mistakes that cost energy or safety
Whether you’ve never made it to the top or want to clean up your form for multiple reps under fatigue; this session gives you tools you can immediately apply in class.
To join:
You don’t need to have climbed a rope before, but being able to hang from a bar and pull up with control (ring row or pull-up variation) will help you get the most out of it.
