Weightlifting course

Through both unique course material and a combination of theory and practice, we will improve your understanding of the Snatch and Clean&Jerk. 

The emphasis will be on coaching these movements, but athletes looking to improve their own technique are welcome to participate. This course is perfect for people looking to teach weightlifting in either a class or one-on-one session or want to further develop themselves as athletes.


Course Dates: Sunday April 5th & Sunday April 12th 2020, 13:30 - 18:00

Course Leader: Jeremy Regensburg, Head Strength Coach at UnScared CrossFit, has been running up to 20 weekly Weightlifting and Strength group classes for beginners as well as competitors at UnScared for the past four years!

He has experience coaching top level competitors, has a wide variety of certifications and has been active as an certified instructor for Eleiko Education. 

"The theoretical part will discuss on style differences in weightlifting technique, the importance of correctly applied strength and speed, flexible programming and class management in the context of teaching weightlifting."

Course Costs: 350,- euro 

Course Requirements: None, but to ensure that you can get the most out of the course, we recommend that participants have at least practiced the snatch and clean and jerk for a few months and are able to do at least a front squat and overhead squat with an empty bar.
